Im getting so tired of seeing clones of myself constantly. I can understand that we cant change our body fat(even though it would be great to play as a severely obese mesmer), or change eye color, and so on, but I surely hope that there will be a much much bigger selection of different armors in nightfall than in factions, because that was sort of bad.

You can't just take two different armors and duplicate them entirely and just give them different names and stats. thats just to weak. even for an EA game for god sakes... thats just consumer rape. ethnic gaming wipeout. soiled insanity, even. jesus.

stuff like 100K armor should be the ultimate... I mean.. the materials needed to also gather it should be so rare that it would be impossible to get it.

maybe they should just make some stuff that is so hard to get that no one will ever be able to get it. that way, the carrot-on-a-stick syndrom would be able to live on, through vanity and fear from the customers.

The # of possible armors availiabe determine the rarity of your appearance, so making them expensive is irrelavent to rarity. However you were 100% correct about adding grind, which is what the game was suppose to try to avoid. Anyways, I like the wing ideas but then everyone would want the extra cool armor and when the market wants it, they'll find a way to get it, no matter how much grinding the company sets up. Hey this could be a good way to keep players busy between chapters

Wings have already been discussed for armor. Frankly, it would be pointless for them to design that many skins for each profession.

If you have payed 100k+ecto for anything I pity you.

Granted some people will pay whatever for that nice perfect Zodiac Sword or whatever, but seriously- its retarded.

you need more sleep. Youre getting kind of out of hand here. Making this "even harder to get" armor would only increase the amount of people buying gold on ebay so that they can all look the 'same' again.

And how am I a time traveller again? Youre talking decreasing inflation, but having rediculously priced armor is going to make the problem worse. You say itll increase replayability, but actually it will only increase grind.

Noooo! I don't even have enough money for 15k armor yet! Oh well, time to start farming more than 1 run a month...

Its a good idea though. I like it. I mean we have 1.5k, 15k, and a million k armors, so why not fill in the gaps in between?

Obsidian is not a million K, it is 15k with expensive materials. However I agree with the idea of putting more expensive armors; whether its more expensive gold wise and about the same cost in materials, or more expensive in both ways. A lot of people would buy it, and I think that would take alot of gold out of the system.

Edit: Wow now that I think of it, it would be insane if obsidian was 1000000k armor, 15k armors that much gold per piece, can you imagine paying 5million gold in pure gold (one piece at a time, and only with a full storage) AND adding all the ectos and shards :O that would be crazy. I sure am glad that the FoW armors not 1million k lol

Its bad enough all the people in Fissure Armor who didnt earn it themselves. Your precious armor means nothing to me.

Do you know how many ppl in GW are so rich they don't know what to do w/ their money? Some ppl who have 1 million are anal about letting their storage vault gold drop below 900k, they just keep hoarding it. I'd rather not have a new armor that instead of solving the cloning problem (which is not a problem to me), would separate the rich from the poor. All the rich would look like clones, and all the poor would be scrounging just to get a set of Gladiator's from Droknar's. No thanks.

It seems you havent bought factions and only play prophecies. There was a ton of new armor designs for each class when factions came out and even more when nightfall comes out. We have enough armor designs and much mroe to come, how can you still complain about lack of armor?

Instead I'd like to see more 1,5k-15k armorsets in Nightfall, perhaps 8-10 1,5k and same amount of 15k? Factions had less types of armor in total but more unique sets instead of only 1,5k and 15k version of the same armor.

What I don't get, is why you oppose it. Are you just one of does people who like to be mr.-oppesite?

it doesnt affect you. If you dont want to pursue the armor, then don't. Let people who got more money than they can spend, get something worth bragging about to their friends. its just skins, but its a goal and achivement and a reason to keep playing, and a reason to be proud of what you have accomplished in the game.
